Get Hipstamatic, keep Classic on your iPhone and open it once, then sign in to the same Hipstaccount. Your HipstaPaks, gear and favorites come with you.

Before you start

  • Hipstamatic needs iOS 18.6 or later. It’s free on the App Store.
  • Classic Camera 377 or later, and Hipstamatic 10.7.8 or later.

    Get Hipstamatic

    Free on the App Store. Keep Classic: it stays on your iPhone and keeps working.

    Open Classic Camera

    Make sure you’re signed in to your Hipstaccount in Classic.

    In Hipstamatic, sign in to your Hipstaccount

    Settings, under Hipstaccount. Choose Use Existing for the one you use in Classic.

    Tip If you have a different Hipstaccount created for Hipstamatic, you can merge the two on the Hipstaccount website.

    Find your gear

    On the Gear tab: Classic Gear Import, at the bottom.

    They’re presets now: Manage Presets, on the same page.

Good to know

  • With Classic on your iPhone, the Camera Club screen in Hipstamatic offers the Classic Special, starting with three months free.
  • Your photographs are in your iPhone’s Photos library, whichever app took them.
