Aviation Life

I was born in Uruguay 38 years ago, and I have been an airline pilot for the past 20 years, currently flying an Airbus 320 Captain for Shenzhen Air-lines, one of the biggest Chinese airlines.

Photo Story by Leonardo Correa Luna I have been IN china for the past 4 years living in Shenzhen, and I recently moved to Guangzhou. My wife, Christy, and daughter, Jade, live in Kunming, so on my free days I commute there. I spend a lot of my time in the airplane not only working, but also in my free time. This has become the perfect way for me to explore my passion for Hipstamatic photography.

I’ve had cameras all my life, but just took this hobby seriously in the past four years to the point that now I get commissions and get published regularly. I always carry a bulky bag with my D800 and three lenses in every flight, but nothing compares to the fun and freedom of Hipstamatic, and the instant gratification of seeing the photo ready in just a few moments.

The current plan is to stay in China for many years, to keep photographing the local streets, and of course...the aviation life.
