The Hush Sound

After a 6 year hiatus, the Chicago natives are back on tour with new songs and great energy

The Hush Sound recently stopped by the Haus of Hipstamatic— San Francisco to acoustically serenade us on the roof. The group initially got started by writing story-driven songs and were immediately hooked on writing lyrics. From there, they recruited additional band members, and before they knew it, were playing to packed venues in Chicago and selling hundreds of albums. The Chicago buzz took them to internet buzz, which in turn helped them land a record deal.

Although they recently took time for a breather, (traveling and school), they’re quick to jump back on the scene. They just released a few songs , played several shows at SXSW, and are releaseing a full album this summer.—RM
