Ginger & the Ghost

Page 14 of Snap No. 9

With a personality that matched their quirky performance, this artistic duo left us loving each track

“I wrote this song at burning man...” was how she transitioned between psychadelic songs while she danced around in circles swaying her gorgeous red hair. Sydney-based Ginger & the Ghost took us away to another world with projections that seemed to mirror the etherial state that drove their sound; her voice was soothing and trance-like and her outfit of a feathered boa, leotard, and barefeet created a storytime show that blew our minds.

You can tell they work off of love dynamics—swaying to the same rhythms together. Her husband has her back on the guitar and she swoons with her voice while picking up whatever instrument is around her, whether that be the drums at her side or a bicycle wheel. —Rheanna Martinez
