Hannah’s Adventure in Tulum

I love taking pictures of everything from beautiful scenery and people, to food and concerts.

I like to document everything in photos, and my camera-of-choice is without question my Hipstamatic app. (Last year, I even documented all 365 days of 2011 on My Life in Hipstamatic blog). I own every lens and film available, and have probably tried them out in every combination at one time or another. The irony of this is that I tend to “fall in love” with a certain combination and it takes me a while to move on to something different. My current obsession: The Foodie SnapPak (Loftus Lens, DC Film, No Flash).

Last Christmas, my family and I went to Tulum, Mexico for a pretty amazing 10-day holiday and I probably took more than 300 photos on my iPhone 4S using Hipstamatic. It’s not difficult to find a muse in Tulum — the crystal clear turquoise water of the Caribbean, the ancient Mayan ruins, and of course the food (ceviche!) and cervezas. Here is a sampling of some of my favorite shots.
