In a Flash

Page 19 of Snap No. 3

One of the wonders of hipstamatic is its flash: from Tasty Pop to Cadet Blue Gel, each flash is designed to yield a different result. In fact, there are two flash settings: the hard flash will have a more dramatic, obvious effect, while the half-setting or “soft flash” does not use the camera’s LED, but will slightly lightens the image.

A great flash to start experimenting with is the Pop Rox (available in the Groupie SnapPak). It was designed for dimly lit bars and concerts, but has a variety of other use cases as well. To scope out the results, take a look at this bad boy in action in the above photos. We think it pairs perfectly with our new wmag FreePak, so get to snappin’!—MS

Hipstamatic comes equipped with a variety of flashes, so you never have to let the sun set on your photo-taking fun
