Vancouver So Much
Yum
Between Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, canada has become a hot spot for American foodies looking to travel to taste the world without crossing oceans. The food scene in Vancouver has become so popular that I had to make the journey to try it out for myself.
B Runch
Medina cafe: Brunch is really the only time of day that I’ll wait in line and this wait was sooo worth it. The dishes are Mediterranean-inspired and locally sourced. Everything from the homemade belgian waffle to the tagine of 2 poached eggs, with spicy merguez sausage was out of this world!
the farmers Apprentice: While this place does an incredible set menu for dinner featuring artisan-sourced dishes, it also offers weekend brunch. The menu is limited which makes ordering easy. Not-to-miss are the homemade buscuits, jam and sausages.
yolks breakfast: This place has a cult following but that’s what happens when you offer perfectly poached eggs with all the fixings and truffle-lemon hashbrowns. The oakwood canadian Bistro: This delicious gastropub delights with locally sourced incredients and a focus on seasonal offerings. The burger and warm kale salad are not to be missed (trust me, its delicious!) Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie: Chinese food is hot in Vancouver. While the setting and clientele leans more hipster than traditional, the flavors are spot on. Order the Shao Bing and don’t miss out on one of their exceptional cocktails.
Ancora waterfront: I’m adding this place to the list because of my love for sashimi and peruvian food. Ancora mixes these flavors beautifully and happens to be located right on the water with al fresco possibilities. Dinn er Visit my list on Foursquare for more options.
