Paris

Photographs and Words by Lorraine Healy

I’m an Argentinean writer and photographer living on Whidbey Island, Washington. I have long been a medium format photographer, mostly using Holgas, but iPhoneography, and Hipstamatic, in particular, got me excited about the possibilities of digital capture with a “less than perfect twist.”

Last January 2012, I spent three weeks in Paris and its surrounding areas. One
of my favorite “cameras” I used was the Hipstamatic Disposable loaded with BlackKeys 44. It was absolutely perfect for street photography in all kinds of light. It allowed me to catch the spontaneous scenes around me, in traditional B&W, but in the square format that I love. I ended up buying the 99-camera package of BlackKeys 44 and I’m happily making my way through it.

All photos taken with Hipstamatic Disposable BlackKeys 44.
