CINEMATOGRAPHER DAN MINDEL INSPIRES NEW HANALEI HIPSTAPAK

CINEMATOGRAPHER DAN MINDEL INSPIRES NEW HANALEI HIPSTAPAK

Known for his work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Trek, Dan Mindel has been creating beautiful images for years. For this month’s HipstaPak, we’ve partnered with the famous Director of Photography to bring you a new, unique look inspired by one of his favorite places in the world.

THE TALENT THAT IS DAN MINDEL:
After teaching himself to develop 35mm prints in secondary school in England, his love for Jacques Cousteau’s documentaries led him to motion pictures. He started as a studio assistant at BFCS [Brooks Fulford Cramer Seresin], one of the first commercial production houses in London, where he was able to work with some of the top directors of the time. Eventually, he began working with Tony and Ridley Scott, moving his way up into some big budget films like ‘Enemy of the State’. His Hipstamatic images from the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens caught our attention and we’re so excited to be partnering with him on the Hanalei HipstaPak!
