Brutalissima

Thoroughly functional in design and fortress-like appearance, the Brutalist buildings of Washington, D.C. dominate the city’s southern skyline. With their fastidious use of concrete and straight-line they epitomize the architectural masculinity of the 1960s and 70s. Brutalissima is a subtle subversion; a super position of contemporary pornographic images and pastel colors on the otherwise sexless modern landscape.
