The sun is finally out and the outdoor parties have started. Every year artists try to claim that their new single will be the song of the summer but Paper Games by Kaneholler has seriously been on repeat since my first listen. The sultry, jazz vocals of Chelsea Taylor (daughter of Steven Tylor) join the bass of fiance Jon Foster and with a fusion of electronic beats and soul undertones, their energy merges on the stage of Vynl on Abbott-Kinney. The Brooklyn formed band now calls Venice home, and seeing them here makes for a sexy crowd of guests and friends in a super intimate setting.
