Walking in to The Independent in San Francisco, my first thought is “wow this is one of the sexiest crowds I’ve been in.” The lights on stage go on and by the time Banks enters the stage, the crowd is already in an easy bounce.

Her stage presence is pretty impressive, considering she was writing music in her LA bedroom just last year. The sold out show had an energy that made you hope she’d stay on stage all night. When the show ended I was immediately saddened that I couldn’t listen to the full album, Goddess, until its September release. But for now I’m consoled with the singles already released.
