we start every year with high hopes about what our future will hold, with goals and resolutions that will make this year better than the last. Often times we are discouraged by our headway and struggle to continue working towards our goals. The creative process is very much the same; we often hit walls in our progress and look for a new project, or a better time to dive in. What we’re really looking for is a bit of inspiration....

with this Art issue of Snap we hope to tickle you in a way that makes you remember why you love to create. Many times the process is more memorable than the final result. The evolution of the work is what makes it a masterpiece. Like every issue, we’ll also show you a new world through the lens of Hipstamatic - from the production and rehearsals behind a ballet to the testament of growth in our own photographic journeys, or from wandering Nashville, Tennessee to watching fisherman in the Hong Kong fishing village of Tai O. And we’ll take you to the kitchen too, with recipes for a Mondrian-inspired cake and a green chartreuse cocktail. we hope this issue not only inspires, but excites you to get back to creating the beautiful images that we have come to know and love from our community. Keep snapping and sharing - and send us your creations for the next issue, the Black and White issue!
