From the Editor: #Color

Welp! It’s winter for us here in the Northern Hemisphere, and with it comes our last issue of Snap for the year. As we look back at what we’ve accomplished in 2013, another milestone comes to mind: our 4 year anniversary since first launching Hipstamatic in the App Store on December 9th, 2009. As the pioneers of the mobile photo world, we’re incredibly thankful for the last four years, and couldn’t be more excited about 2014 and beyond.

Our final issue of the year is devoted to COLOR — to the chaos that comes with it, and the serenity that it can become. Color controls moods and challenges emotions; It brings things together and separates others. We’re inspired by its beautiful dichotomy, and after flipping through this issue, we hope you will be, too.

As always, we’re taking you around the world, through the lens of some of the most talented members of our community. Get tips on how to travel from Marrakech to Machu Picchu, listen to the jams that are creating the soundtrack to our current lives and taste the dishes that will help in our winter hibernation.
