With one of the most Craft Cultures in the country, incredible parks, and beautiful public space, Portland is a creative class haven. The city can be divided into four basic quadrants, and is split by the Willamette River which makes it easy to navigate. You could easily spend your entire trip just eating at all the great restaurants, but save some energy — Portland boasts the largest number of breweries in the world and most strip clubs per capita, so you know their nightlife is more exciting than they let the world know.

If you’re not tied to only a weekend, make sure to take advantage of the hiking and trails in the mountains and Oregon coast which are just outside the city.
