Warm and worn like a trusty old pair of kicks, the Tejas lens smells of sunny southwestern nights In honor of our music issue, we wanted to pay homage to one of our favorite warm and trusty lenses— the Tejas—which was originally released during SXSW in March 2011. To celebrate this year’s SXSW, we’re bringing it back!

The Tejas was part of the SXSW FreePak, and was coupled with the vibrant Cowgirl Case. The combo was the perfect accompaniment for SX-ers and Hipstamatic fans who wanted to document their festivities and relive them later with friends.
