Anthony Bliss takes us on an adventure through America with a small rucksack and an incredibly powerful device

“My travels sent me through eight of America’s major cities, and four of America’s national parks. I was able to see so much of our great country, from the excitement of New Orleans...to my personal highlight which was the train journey through the Rocky Mountain National Park.”

I started in san francisco and made my way down through California on a road trip, stopping at Yosemite before buying a month’s train ticket to journey from the West coast to the East coast, then back again. For all my travel photography, I used Hipstamatic, and specifically the Jane lens with Ina’s 1982 film.

My travels sent me through eight of America’s major cities, and four of America’s national parks. I was able to see so much of our great country, from the excitement of New Orleans and San Francisco to the ski resort of Park City to my personal highlight which was the train journey through the Rocky Mountain National Park. I was even able to borrow a car and do the scenic drive down through southern Utah to visit Arches and Canyonland’s National Parks.
