“I am still on partial bed rest, weeks into this health debacle I’ve been facing. I’m watching The Passion of the Christ on this Holy Thursday, and remembering that my suffering in this life is nothing at all compared to what Jesus has already suffered, and overcome, on all our behalf. My heart used to be so closed to this idea, rebellious and angry, arrogant and selfish. In recent years life has shown me the error and the unnecessary struggle created in being such a fool. I pray that all hearts would be softened to at least the point of considering that He suffered what for us is truly unimaginable persecution, humiliation and pain, all for our sakes… so that even if we do suffer and struggle on earth we do not have to on the other side of this life. God bless all who see this post, may you find peace today. 🙏💜”
